In the real world, ballast holds railroad ties in place. Our Ballast product models ballast and is great for modelling gravel roads too! The product is lightweight and easy to use.
Each bag contains enough material to cover an area of 18 cubic inches.
Application Instructions
Ballast is excellent for railroad tracks and gravel roads.
1. Pour Ballast on desired area.
2. Brush Ballast from rails and top of ties
3. Mist Ballast lightly with “wet water” (2 drops liquid dish soap in cup of water) so Ballast will absorb Scenic Cement.
4. Use an eyedropper to apply Scenic Cement to Ballast.
Canister Shaker is recommended for easy application and storage
